Acorny Thank You 3×3

My big Stampin’ Up order arrived today! Can we say yay?! I haven’t used all of the products yet, but I did use my Acorny Thank You stamp set and coordinating punch. Tonight I wanted to try something different out and went with a 3×3 card. Please forgive the unprofessional picture, I took it with my cell phone on my craft table. If you want to know what all I bought in my order please look below the picture.

Fall Craft Bazaar

I know I haven’t updated this blog in quite some time. My husband has been building a business website for me that’s going to go live this week. EEK! I can’t tell you how excited I am about it. Want to hear even more exciting news? Of course you do! My second craft fair is fast approaching. This one will benefit the band department and I’m all for supporting the local schools. Right now I’ve got cards sectioned off by topic and I’m still prepping away. If you’d like updates or are going please visit my Facebook page and let me know at http://www.facebook.com/tendercarded

Fall Leaves

Hello Autumn! The change in weather has me thinking of the warm colors. For my project today I started by choosing the Autumn leaf designer paper.

Isn’t it crazy some of the things you find in your stash that you never knew you had? I received a tiny metal box full of buttons, bottle caps, pins, pendants for jewelry making, and tiny key chains. I found the cute leaf button in the box and it was the perfect accessory! This little box has me researching into other crafts, but that’s another story for another day.

What are you most looking forward to with the cooler temperatures approaching? Personally I’m looking forward to apple picking!

Autumn

Hello

It’s Monday and I’ve got an Autumn card to start it off. Hopefully the cooler weather arrives soon. My week is shaping up to be a busy one, but hopefully I can find time to make at least a card a day.

This card was made using a retired Stampin’ Up set that’s in my stamp collection. I use it from time to time. The set is called All That I Have Seen. I thought the stem stem with the leaves would do perfectly for an Autumn card.

Spooky

I’ve got Autumn on the brain and with that comes Halloween along with all of my other favorite things. For this card I already had the pumpkin left over from when I made a bunch of pumpkins and I really wanted to make something with it. When I went through my patterned paper drawer the eyes popped out at me and I knew that I had to use it.  The black paper with the eyes have glitter glue on them and theglitter doesn’t come off. Believe me if it got everywhere I wouldn’t have bought it or used it. Have you ever heard the saying “glitter is the herpes of craft supplies”? Anyways back on topic the pumpkin has wiggle eyes glued on. This card is going to be apart of the cards that I’m going to be mailing out to friends and family.

If you’re interested in ordering a pumpkin card please let me know and I can definitely make you one and envelopes are included. Single cards are $2.50 plus shipping. I’ll take custom order and card set requests! Please let me know and I’ll get back to you asap.

Pumpkin Card

016

Isn’t this card just adorable?! This card is posted to my shop and ready for purchase. Hurry up before someone else grabs it. It’s never to early to buy a card for a specific holiday or event. This card has an embossed background, wiggle eyes, orange ribbon, and I used a layered paper technique. This card was made using my Big Shot machine believe it or not. To make this card I used brown card stock, white card stock, and orange card stock. Any child or adult would be thrilled to get this for Halloween. Remember that homemade cards are cheaper than retail stores and they’re made with love.

All of the cards I create to sell come from a pet free and smoke free home.

Pumpkin Cards

The cooler weather is fast approaching and I’m actually looking forward to it for once. I’m looking forward to the reds, oranges, and yellows. Right now I’m in the process of making pumpkin cards to post very soon. These cards are going to be so adorable with their green curly ribbon and wiggle eyes. I hope that everyone is enjoying their beautiful Sunday.
